New User
Returning User
ROC the Riverway is an initiative by the city of Rochester to get people outside and involved in their community. I created a mobile experience where users are incentivized to visit local landmarks, businesses, and ROC the Riverway developments by collecting flowers and adding them to a digital journal.
This project was challenging at first because I struggled to define the scope of what I wanted to make. I had to decide whether to try to encapsulate the entire city or one experience at one landmark. I created two flows to show how the experience differs between users. The new user flow includes minimal onboarding and instructions to get them started. The returning user flow has a different welcome message and shows what already found areas look like as well as the completed journal and final screen once the user has found all ten.
